Our Take

The Nova brings a big-wheel everyday ride to a budget price: 10.04-inch rear wheels and synchronized front-and-rear suspension on a 22 lb frame, with a seat that lies flat for newborn use, a five-point harness, a 10 lb basket, and a rain cover, bumper bar and cup holder in the box. The one-step fold finishes freestanding at 31.5 x 21.8 x 13.7 in - normal folded bulk for a full-feature stroller, not a tiny package.

The read section on the exact listing backs the ride story: durability, easy folding and out-of-box assembly earn praise across the ten reviews read there, and the split theme is weight, with some calling it heavy for a stroller advertised around a compact fold and one returning it as bulky. The full listing average is 4.4 stars across 305 ratings.

Warranty note: the manual states 2 years from purchase while the storefront advertises an extended 4-year limited warranty, so ask which term governs. The manual also rules out running and skating outright, whatever the all-terrain styling suggests, and no manufacturer document names a car-seat adapter - confirm with Mompush before planning a travel system.

What we like

  • 22 lbs with the seat on a full-size ride: 6.5 in front and 10.04 in rear wheels with synchronized dual suspension
  • One-step CLICK & FOLD collapses to a freestanding 31.5 x 21.8 x 13.7 in package
  • Lie-flat from-birth position with the mattress insert, one-hand recline and a 3-position leg rest
  • Rain cover, bumper bar, cup holder and basket all ship in the box
  • Caregivers in the read sample single out durability, easy assembly and value for money

Worth knowing

  • The official documents disagree on warranty length: the manual says 2 years while the storefront advertises an extended 4-year limited warranty
  • No car-seat adapter route is documented anywhere in the manufacturer sources, so the travel-system story is absent rather than weak
  • The big wheels cost carry: 22 lbs reads heavy to some caregivers, and folded bulk appears in the negative excerpts
  • The manual rules out running and skating, and seat dimensions and brake actuation type go unpublished

Best for

Caregivers of one child from the newborn stage (fully reclined, per the manual) into the toddler years who want a smooth big-wheel ride, a genuinely compact freestanding fold and generous box contents at an attainable price.

Consider another option if

You need a factory-documented infant car-seat adapter route, a chassis rated for running or skating, one consistent published warranty period, or the lightest possible carry.

Full care instructions & warranty terms

Cleaning: Manufacturer care instructions: the mattress cover, seat and sun-canopy fabrics are machine-washable (the product page says 86F/30C; the manual says cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent - both official texts); the sunshade and rain cover wipe with cold water and mild detergent; the underseat basket and handlebar grips wipe with a damp cloth; never bleach; never submerge or run water over metal or plastic parts. Colors may fade with washing and Mompush states it is not responsible for faded colors.

Maintenance: Manual: keep the handlebar and fold mechanisms free of abrasive grime and moisture, dry the stroller if wet, regularly check all rivets, screws and safety devices for tightness, inspect wheels and replace if necessary, and avoid excessive sun/heat exposure. The parking brake must be locked when loading, unloading and parking, and the 5-point harness must always be used.

Warranty: The official documents differ. The manual's legal text warrants the stroller free from manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase (non-transferable, original retail purchaser, proof of purchase, registration at mompush.com/registration); the product page banner and Mompush's official warranty page advertise an extended 4-year limited warranty for strollers. The conflict is recorded under Check before buying.

Helpful Questions

Can the Nova be used from birth?
Yes, in the fully reclined lie-flat seat with the mattress insert; the manual additionally instructs that newborns ride in the Newborn Nest/Reclined Carriage configuration. No car-seat adapter route is documented, so plan newborn travel around the reclined seat.
How long is the warranty?
The official documents disagree: the manual's legal text states 2 years from the date of purchase, while the product page banner and the official warranty page advertise an extended 4-year limited warranty for strollers. Confirm the governing term with Mompush before relying on either.
Is the Nova a jogging stroller?
No. The manual states the product is not suitable for running or skating, whatever all-terrain-flavored marketing wording appears on retailer listings.
What ships in the box?
The stroller frame, seat with mattress insert, canopy, rain cover, bumper bar, four wheels, shopping basket and cup holder. The Nova Fabric Basket replacement is the only accessory the official page sells separately.
