Our Take
Mint Latch is a sensible city-carrier candidate when the infant seat frequently goes into a different vehicle. Built-in anchors remove the need to move a separate base, provided the vehicle position has usable anchors. We would practice the seat-belt alternative too, because an unfamiliar taxi may not offer convenient access. Its 30-inch height ceiling and carrier weight are tradeoffs against a lighter conventional seat. The convenience is specific and useful; it is not evidence that every installation will be effortless.
What we like
- No separate base to transport
- Rigid lower anchors built into carrier
- Approved belt-installation option
Worth knowing
- Not every seating position has accessible compatible anchors.
- Shorter height allowance than some 32-inch infant seats.
